Tools needed.
- 3mm T wrench
- 5mm T wrench
- 10mm T wrench
- Phillips head screwdriver
- Adjustable open-end wrench
Make sure to keep all nuts and bolts in one place so that none are lost.
Make sure to reinstall all handlebar components in the same positions that they were removed from.
A. How to remove the original front fork from the bike.
- Remove all components from the handlebars.
- Loosen the 2 set screws at the base of the handlebar stem.
- Unlatch the handlebar stem to expose the 10mm nut.
- Remove the 10mm nut from the Fork shaft and slide the handlebar stem down and out of the front fork shaft .
- Once all of these parts are removed. The chopper kit is ready to install.
B. How to install the Chopper Kit. - Make sure nothing is missing from the chopper kit. (All nuts, bolts, and washers are with the package)
- Remove all spacers from the shaft/handlebar stem.
- Be sure to remove your upper adjustment bar before sliding on your shaft/handlebar stem.
- Slide the shaft/handlebar stem into the Fork shaft of the bike from the bottom up.
- Replace the spacers from step 2.
- Replace your upper adjustment bar.
- Adjust your lower adjustment bar up so that it sits in a position that will not hit the front wheel then tighten the nuts.
- .
- Make sure the upper adjustment bar is set at the height of the spacers to allow for proper foundation.
- Attach the headlight to the chopper kit halfway between the upper and lower adjustment bar.
- Install the handlebars onto the handlebar stem and your components onto the handlebars.
- Make sure all nuts and bolts are tight before riding.
The installation of the chopper kit is completed.
